Confederate
Confederate Motor Company produces high quality, high-end motorcycles and are now based in Birmingham, Alabama.
Founded in 1991 by trial lawyer H. Matthew Chambers who claimed to want ‘enlightened design through true American Inspiration’.
The company has moved around America a lot in their short history. Originally starting in San Francisco in 1992 before moving to New Orleans in 1993.
It wasn’t until February 1994 that the first motorcycle would role off the production line.
In 2005 disaster struck as Hurricane Katrina severely damaged the factory, prompting the company to move yet again, this time to their current home in Birmingham Alabama.
Confederate produce very low quantities of their motorcycles with just 37 motorcycles sold in 2008, however prices start at around $92,000.
They currently produce three motorcycles: C3 X132 Hellcat, B120 Wraith and the P120 Fighter.
