Kawasaki

The motorcycle part of Kawasaki are just one part of the Kawasaki Heavy Industries company. Motorcycles are just one part of the company that produces ATVs, utility vehicles, Jet Ski’s and engines.

Kawasaki first began manufacturing motorcycle engines in 1953 and is probably best known for the "H1", "Z1" and "GPZ" series motorcycles.

The first motorcycle produced by Kawasaki was the "B7" released in 1961, just two years later the "B8" took 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in the 125cc class motocross race at Aonogahara, Japan.

It wasn’t until 1966 that the company opened in the US and not until 1974 did they appear in the UK and Canada.
