Oberdan Bezzi Designs Three Bimota’s To Take On MV Agusta

Oberdan Bezzi believes, and who are we to argue, that when the MV Agusta F3 arrives in dealerships, there will be very few competitors to counter the success in the middle-class segment.

“The 600 Japanese, while very valid, can not compete in terms of charm and sophistication of construction on the bike and the equally valid Triumph Daytona, does not hold the allure that can keep fans awake at night” says Bezzi.

And so Bezzi believes it is at this point that Bimota could step in, boosting its credibility as a motorcycle manufacturer to ‘exceptional’ with a model that can overshadow the new F3.

“The Bimota TB-1 675 would be designed around the three-cylinder Triumph 675, suitably revised to draw even better performance” he says

“A fine motorcycle in the best tradition of the House of Rimini, aesthetically definitely racing, they would be the true icon of mid-size sport bikes.

“Of course, it will be sold at a higher price (well above) the competitor, but the exclusibity you know…it costs!

“Bimota will also obviously not miss the opportunity to prepare the future competitor to the MV Agusta Brutale 3 cylinders.

“So here is the TB-2675, naked sporty two-seater with the same characteristics of the superfine version supersport.”

“Fairing and two-seat version of the Triumph 675 for Bimota. Based ont the 3-cylinder engine from the 675.

“For those who want a sporty motorcycle.”
