By Barry Russell

Thai Moto2 racer, Ratthapark Wilairot, is continuing to recover following the road accident on 6th December in which his friend, who was riding the motorcycle on which he was a passenger, died. Wilairot was found unconscious at the scene and has been in the intensive care unit of Bangkok’s Bumrungrad hospital with facial and head injuries.

Kraitos Wongsawan, owner of motorsports internet portal FMSCT-Live reports that the rider, whose Thai nickname is “Feem” is getting better but will remain in intensive care while a blood clot to his brain is being treated and monitored.

These photographs from FMSCT-Live show Feem in good spirits and with his mother and Alakh Pornprapa, Director of Thailand’s AP Honda. It is hoped that he will be fit for pre-season testing in February.
