It’s no coincidence that two car manufacturers are deciding to build motorcycles, or more specifically scooters, when you think that India is currently selling more 50cc bikes then most of Europe and USA combined.
What this means, of course, is that existing scooter manufacturers can’t rest on their laurels and must get out into the market to keep ahead of the game.
This leads us nicely to Ray Monahans’ latest creation. A Lambretta scooter concept looking similar to the Mini and Smart concepts, this one has a bit more of an aggresive touch with its angled lines and yet the use of colour softens things up at the same time.
