TTXGP Comes To Brands Hatch For Its Penultimate Date In An Historic 2010

TTXGP UK and TTXGP EURO Championship Finals in Brands Hatch with qualifying on Saturday and racing on Sunday. The most races ever held for any electric motorsport series and the largest ever grid of electric motorbikes with qualifiers move forward to TTXGP World Series Final/UEM

The World Final will take place in Albacete on October 24th 2010.

The 2010 TTXGP UK Championship has been dominated by the 2009 Isle of Man TTXGP Champions, Team Agni, with both bikes holding the first and second positions in the standings. The British Army team, the Electric Hussars, ridden by Pete Ward is a very close at third in what has been an incredible debut year for the team.

The underdog heroes of 2009, Team Tork from India are contesting for a top three finish, only behind in fourth place by three points. Kingston University have a lot to prove and return determined to claim their first podium.

Brands will also see the return of the intrepid heroes from Sweden, Morris Motorcycles with Annie Seel piloting the bike to Albacete.

ManTTX will be out to prove that they have what it takes for a race win following their last lap failure at Pembrey when James McBride ran out of power having dominated the entire race until then.

Brands Hatch will also host the final two rounds of the TTXGP Euro Championship that started at the glorious TT Assen Circuit on Sept 23/24.

Building on their blistering start, CRP are sure to be one of the favourites as they take their purpose built bike forward and continue the journey to the next generation of motorsport with TTXGP.

Campus Automobile from Spa Francorchamps who won the first race in a wheel-to-wheel race with CRP will be out to prove their credentials as a technical tour de force with their race based platform.

SMP Racing from Russia continue their season and are joined by new teams from Germany and China.

TTXGP has grown from 1 race in 2009 to 13 races in 2010 and in the process has sparked a generational shift in motorsport both off and on the track. Brands Hatch marks the culmination of the world regional championships before Albacete, where the Euro and UK championship qualifiers will be joined by the North Americans and the TTXGP Series Champion will be crowned.

Race day is Sunday with Race 1 at 11am; Race 2 at 5pm.

Following Brands Hatch, TTXGP goes to Intermot in Cologne, Germany where we will be announcing a number of new initiatives for the TTXGP Championship in 2011. Come and join us in Hall 5.2 (Stand A020) for daily shows on technology and commerce from the EV world.
