World Champion Marc Marquez Passes His Driving Test

Whilst Marc Marquez is able to take two-wheels round the track at speeds of more than 240 km/h it was only yesterday that he was able to legally get behind the wheels of a car.

Marquez, who turned 18 on the 17th February, took less than 24 hours to pass his driving test.

Marquez passed his theory test some weeks ago and took his practical exam on the streets of Lleida and passed first time.

Marquez will now have to drive round with the “L” on his car for beginner drivers. It will undoubtedly be a curious image as a World Champion drives around in an “L” plated car.

Marc Marquez
“This winter I took advantage of the break to do physical training, which was my priority, but also to get my driving licence. At 18 is the objective of any guy of my age. Yesterday I turned 18 and today I can say that I have my licence. So I will be able to experience new feelings on the road. Now I have to think only about my bike and focus in the next tests that will take place in Jerez”.
