Another fantastic world superbike race saw a great ding-dong battle between Irishman Eugene Laverty and Italian Max Biaggi.
Biaggi was so quick on the start/finish straight and was managing to get past Laverty in the early laps but the Irishman was so good on the brakes that he was able to pull the lead back at the end of the straight.
Biaggi then started to push too hard and began making mistakes being passed by both Haslam and Melandri who were in 3rd and 4th respectively.
However Biaggi was able to hit back almost straight away and with a couple of corners was back into 2nd.
Eugene Laverty though produced a fantastic ride to take the win, his riding style was such that he was hardly on the bike going round the corners.
