Christoph Waltz may return for Bond 25 & 26 if Daniel Craig

A Neurosurgeon Critiques Latest James Bond Film's Grasp of Brain Surgery

The return of Daniel Craig isn't looking too promising though, as a few months ago he said he would rather "slash his wrists" than do another Bond film - despite the fact that he is contracted for one more movie.

Christoph Waltz, the actor behind Bond villain Blofeld, is said to be returning to the franchise - but only if star Daniel Craig also signs up. "All I want to do is move on", he told Time Out magazine. Ernst Stavro Blofeld is known to have a long and close relationship with James Bond since their childhood, and to continue such story with a new actor would be a bit odd and unreasonable.

According to The Sun, the "two in one"' deal being proposed is specifically to persuade the 47-year-old actor to stay on in the role - despite him dropping heavy hints that "Spectre" would be his final outing.

What wouldn't make all that much sense is not bringing back Daniel Craig, so you can see where Waltz might be coming from here.

A source added: "Daniel has been a huge success as 007 and is loved by fans so he isn't going anywhere yet".

"The directors know they would be daft to replace him at a stage where he is so popular".

Now, anxious bosses reckon that have a sneaky plan up their sleeves to secure Craig for two more movies as Bond, but it could mean that the next two James Bond movies are two-parters. Meanwhile, Michael G. Wilson, series producer of the film, has stated that he thinks Craig will return for Bond 25.
