Kate Beckinsale's Husband Files for Divorce in Los Angeles

Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman's split is finally official.

News of the pair's split surfaced in November past year, with one source claiming they had secretly separated several months prior to that.

It's over! The 12 year union between stunning Kate Beckinsale, 43, and Len Wiseman, also 43, is dunzo, as the director has reportedly filed for divorce from the British beauty.

According to TMZ, the director cited "irreconcilable differences" in the divorce papers and the pair are not seeking spousal support from each other as they come to an agreement.

Another insider added that neither Beckinsale or Wiseman had recently been wearing their wedding rings.

She met Wiseman when he directed her in the first Underworld film, which was released in 2003. There has been no drama.

But the couple had been estranged for some time, and were last seen together in June 2015, having dinner at a LA restaurant.

"It's just not Kate's style", continued the source.

They were said to have grown apart due to their busy schedules but still be on friendly terms. "He loves his stepdaughter and is there for her", says a second source.

She shared: "Lily is a great, bright, intelligent, feisty girl. I'm quite jealous of friends whose kids aren't doing that yet".
