Ride Safe Back Safe

Following on from its success in 2009, RideSafe BackSafe has teamed up with the Institute of Advanced Motoring again, to provide a series of inexpensive but invaluable Rider Assessment Days for motorcyclists in the North West.

The timetable will include classroom-style theory sessions, information, advice and on-road assessments by IAM Assessors to help improve riding skills, hazard awareness, temperament and decision-making.

The days will be held at Lancashire Police Headquarters in Hutton, Lancashire. Last year’s price has been held at just £20 and this includes toasted teacakes, lunch and cakes in the afternoon.

Places will be reserved on a ‘first come, first served’ basis and are confirmed as;-

Saturday 17th April
Sunday 16th May
Saturday 12th June
Saturday 17th July
Saturday 14th August
Saturday 11th September
Saturday 9th October

Start time is 9.30am and the day finishes at around 3.30pm.

The courses were fully booked in 2009.

Bookings by email to shelby.williams@lancashire.pnn.police.uk or call Shelby directly on (01772) 412 375.
