Charles N'Zogbia looks set to depart Villa Park after falling foul of a third successive manager at Aston Villa, with Remi Garde confirming there is interest from Greece.
Garde, who was backed for the Villa job by Arsene Wenger, has admitted the future of the right-back came up in conversations between the two managers.
Garde wants Mathieu Debuchy from Arsenal and Chelsea's Loic Remy to aid Villa's survival fight and said he is not preparing a squad for the Sky Bet Championship.
"It's too early. It won't help me or anybody to go forward to make any more comments about that today", he added.
Wycombe are sixth on the League Two standings list and have won three of their last five matches, while Villa are rock bottom in the Premier League and have won just once all season.
Traore broke a bone in his foot in last Saturday's 3-1 loss to fellow strugglers Sunderland.
For me, the answer would be no. We have seen that on his day Gabby can tear apart high-quality defences.
Speaking about his situation with the Daily Mirror before Christmas, the former Newcastle man said: 'I am dealing with it.
"We play a high intensity game high in work rate, and we will be playing a team who haven't been having the best run of luck, so anything is possible, and there's no pressure on us".
"I know the finances to the penny, so I know what this means for us and how much this will go to paying our debt off".
The goal was deserved as Villa began to exert some dominance and the fans clearly enjoyed it when they began cheering "we've scored a goal". When you lose a player for 10 weeks it is huge.
The Chairboys are pushing hard for promotion to League One and to get a Premier League scalp like Aston Villa would give the club a massive lift.
