The jury of seven women and five men returned the verdict Monday against Shavaughn McKenzie after a seven-day trial in which Jenner described her fear at finding McKenzie lurking in her driveway and banging on her auto window in August.

The seven-woman, five-man jury deliberated for less than two hours before reaching its verdict.

She explained that she came home and found McKenzie sitting in front of her driveway, with his head tucked between his knees.

She went on to describe that, when she realised that McKenzie had then followed her vehicle through the gate of her property, she screamed, "Who are you?" and told him to leave, at which point he "started freaking out, banging on all her windows".

The 20-year-old supermodel Kendall Jenner was forced to relive her scary run-in with an alleged stalked on October 13 when she testified against him in court, but now it seems it was all for nothing because he was just found not guilty. McKenzie faces up to a year in prison if convicted on November 10 of the lesser misdemeanour charge, but will likely be released on probation for displaying good behaviour. He held his hands in the air and said: "Hey look, I don't have a gun".

Outside the courtroom following the verdict, Perez said he was "disappointed", adding he believed there was "more than enough evidence to convict him on (stalking)".

"She doesn't want to be surrounded by security", Perez said.

During her testimony almost two weeks ago Jenner described her fear at finding him lurking in her driveway and banging on her auto window in August.

A prosecutor has said McKenzie stalked Jenner for 15 months before his arrest in August.

"I was crying, I was screaming, I was freaking out". He noted that McKenzie has never said how he well-read that Jenner had moved to the hilltop home abandoned from the street and handy only after driving through a 13-foot gate. "I didn't know what his intentions were ... I was frightened for sure", the 20 year old model and reality star told the court last week.

He banged on her vehicle window and refused to leave the property, which led her to make several panicked phone calls to friends while the authorities were on the way.
