BMW S1000RR Hits 183 BHP

Bike magazine has completed a dyno run with a BMW S1000 RR showing the bike reaching a cool 183bhp at the back wheel.

This is interesting, not least because BMW themselves claim that the bike is only capable of 193bhp but this test would suggest the bike is capable of something more like 200bhp! So the world’s most powerful liter bike is more powerful than first thought.

Let the wild speculation begin as to why BMW would release figures that are less than what the bike is actualy capable of.
