Ducati 599 Mono Concept
Monday, January 18th, 2010That man Dan…Anderson has been at it again this time producing this gorgeous looking Ducati 599 Mono Concept.
Dan says this creation is ‘a single cylinder Ducati superbike using existing engine technology refined during the design of the ‘Supermono’ single cylinder motorcycle. A direct rival to the soon-to-be-released KTM RC4.’
The bike would have a 4 valve, desmo head, water cooled 599cc single cylinder engine. A six speed gearbox, dry clutch and 160kg dry weight all add up to some pretty exciting theoretical statistics.
Chances of Ducati actually producing the thing? We reckon slim to none which is a shame as for the right price, this could rival anything the ‘big boys’ put out.
