Man Steels 14 Year Old Boys Scrambler
Thursday, July 15th, 2010Detectives are hunting a thug who attacked a 14-year-old boy and stole his scrambler bike.
The victim was riding his bike on wasteland near Johnson’s Lane, Widnes, between 7-7.30pm on July 5 when he was approached by the offender.
The man – who was driving a black Mitsubishi L200 4×4 – asked the boy if the motorbike was his, and then asked to have a go.
When the boy refused the man demanded the bike, and then pushed and kicked him.
He took the motorbike and placed it onto the back of his 4×4, before making off towards Gorsey Lane.
The offender is described as white, aged about 35, 6ft tall, of slim build, and with short black hair. The car he was driving also had ‘Monster Energy’ stickers on it.
A Cheshire Police spokesman asked: “Did you witness the incident?
“Do you know the offender or recognise the description of the vehicle?
