Suzuki Gladius Wins Japanese Good Design Award
Monday, January 18th, 2010Suzuki’s latest middleweight has gained a prestigious awards in its home market, taking the honours in the motorcycle category of the ‘Good Design Awards’.
Launched in the spring of 2009, the Gladius 650 replaced the popular SV650. Featuring a trellis-styled steel frame, curved bodywork and ancillaries along with bold colour options, the Gladius brought unique style to the Japanese naked middleweight segment.
The Gladius has a chassis and bodywork designed to be slender and a low seat-height of just 785mm, the Gladius 650 is one entry-level machine that delivers both form and function.
With a recommended retail price of just £4,949 on the road, its final blow is the ability to bring great design, performance and usability to every type of rider.
