Valentino Rossi to Ducati Announcement at Catalunya?

These rumours have been going round for a while now that Rossi will move over to Ducati for next season. Now however, the ‘daily-mail-of-motorcycle-news’, sorry, MCN are saying that Rossi will annouce the move at this weekends GP in Catalunya.

Apparently it’s all planned out. Rossi will go to Ducati, Stoner goes to Honda and Spies moves up to take Rossi’s ride at Fiat Yamaha. Their ‘insider source’ says:

“I know for sure that Rossi will go to Ducati next season. The deal has been done. One month ago it seemed impossible to imagine this, but Rossi will be in red next year.”

The deal is thought to be worth 15 million Euros for Rossi over two years.

We’re not really into rumours here at Stay On The Black, except for the one about us being part of some evil empire intent on taking over the world with just a small moped and an adjustable spanner! That one we like! There’s a simple way to find out if Rossi is moving, wait until Sunday!
