KTM Freeride eBike Unveiled

UPDATE - The motorcycles, we now know, will have a 2.5 kWh KTM battery that will have a500 recharge cycle life. KTM has said a 1.5 hour recharge time for the battery is expected.

Das Motorrad, the German motorcycle magazine, has ignored a strict embargo put in place by KTM and revealed the Freeride eBike.

The motorcycle is available in supermoto or dirt bike style and has a retail price of around 10,000 Euros, mightly hefty.

The Freeride weighs 90kg and produces 30bhp with a battery life of around 1.5 hours.

No word on release dates as yet.
