For starters, the Vibe S1 Lite has a 5-inch FullHD IPS display, quite like the non-Lite model.
Lenovo released its Vibe S1 smartphone in November and has now officially announced a variant in the form of the Vibe S1 Lite. It has two front cameras and an attractive curved glass back design. We didn't stop at selfies; we also added a 13MP PDAF rear camera and dual LED CCT rear flash to deliver crisper-colored images every time the sun sets.
There's a 5 inch Full HD display on board and a 2700 mAh battery that keeps your phone running for longer hours. It features a manual power saver switch that instantly extends battery life as well as an OTG (On-The-Go) charging function that lets it charge other USB-connected devices such as Bluetooth headsets and portable speakers.
If the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite comes with the same build as its more expensive version, then it's going to look just great, as the Vibe S1 looks premium, sporting a metal frame. While the phone itself packs some pretty decent hardware, one of its highlights would be its 8MP front-facing camera that also comes with a built-in selfie flash. It is backed by a 2,700mAh battery. Hopefully, dear ol'Len will change its mind, for the S1 Lite sure seems competitive at its $199 price point. This smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, however and update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow is expected to roll out after few months of the Smartphone made available in the Markets.
Lenovo had unveiled several tablets, laptops and other computer accessories at the CES 2016 and in the meanwhile, the company hasn't left out the smartphone segment.
The cameras are joined by software that includes retouching tools and a panorama selfies feature for taking a so-called "groupie" photo. It's powered by the MediaTek MT6753 64-bit octa-core processor, clock at 1.3Ghz, along with a Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage that can be further expandable via MicroSD card slot up to 32GB. Both white and blue options are available.
