Steelers QB Roethlisberger practices in limited capacity

The Steelers have dropped two in a row, and are getting set for a road trip to rival Baltimore this week.

Post game jersey swaps are commonplace among soccer players, and the tradition has recently taken hold in the National Football League as well.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports the Steelers expect Ben Roethlisberger to play Week 9 against the Ravens.

But if Roethlisberger is not ready for the Ravens game, Landry Jones will start at quarterback for the Steelers.

Adam Schefter reported on Sunday morning that Roethlisberger was "still a few weeks out", so there's still plenty of uncertainty regarding the quarterback's health. Pittsburgh hasn't beaten Baltimore since, with Baltimore sweeping the season series previous year after defeating the Steelers in the 2014 AFC wild card round.

The Steelers (4-3) can put some distance between them and the rest of the division, including Baltimore (3-4), with a victory at the halfway point of the season.

Ben Roethlisberger ran the Pittsburgh Steelers' offense through a hurry-up period and 7-on-7s Monday, Le'Veon Bell said.

Now, with a one game lead over Baltimore in the AFC North, the Steelers try to get a pivotal win over the Ravens this Sunday, regardless of who is lining up under center for the black and gold.
