Founded in 1957, the Hyosung Group produce many products from textiles and heavy machinery to chemical products and industrial materials. The company is also is well known for high-end apartment complexes in Korea In 1978 the Hyosung Motors and Machinery company was founded and within a year produced its first motorcycles based on designs licensed from Suzuki Motor company. Hyosung continued producing Suzuki based motorcycles until 1987 when they finally produced their own design.
