Mission are one of the youngest motorcycle companies around having started in 2007. Originally known as Hum Cycles they started with the idea of producing high-performance electric motorycles. It would, however, take two years before the first motorcycle was revealed with the Mission One being shown at the TED conference. The delivery of the bike has been fraught with difficulties this despite the bike setting the land speed record in September 2009 and an additional $3.35 billion in additional funding having been found.
