Kawasaki Announces Subsidised Insurance For 125cc Motorcycles
Thursday, May 6th, 2010As a direct result of the motorcycle industry GetOn campaign, more people are now thinking of taking to two wheels - especially as the sun begins to make more regular appearances.
Top of many young riders wish list is an entry level 125cc machine. Kawasaki has launched two for the 2010 season and both are now available with value for money subsidised insurance.
The off-road styled KLX125 and its SuperMoto style 125cc sibling, the D-TRACKER 125, are available with third party insurance at just £99 for a 17 year old rider, subject to terms and acceptance. Opting for the ultimate comfort of fully comprehensive cover for either of the machines will cost a 21 year old rider just £399, while those coming back to biking as older riders benefit from even lower premiums.
Commenting on the scheme, Sales and Marketing Manager for Kawasaki Motors UK, Michael Johnstone, highlighted the value of offering a “one stop shop” approach for new riders.
“The attraction of motorcycling is obvious, but it can seem complex to tie up all the loose ends if you haven’t bought a bike before. With subsidised insurance for these entry level bikes available at every Kawasaki road bike dealer, customers can now purchase a new 125cc machine and insure it in one quick and simple process.”
