Well the rumour mill is in full swing with everyone expecting the announcement on August 15th that Valentino Rossi will be returning to Yamaha.
You can’t really blame Rossi for leaving his current Ducati Factory team. As hard as Ducati have tried it just was not to be, I think everyone wanted the dream team to win.
I mean, Rossi on an Italian bike winning MotoGP would of been the things that dreams are made of.
So let’s hope that if Rossi does returns to Yamaha that he returns to his winning ways and takes the fight to Lorenzo, because without Casey Stoner next year someone has got to be fighting for the championship.
And a word about Yamaha taking their golden boy back into the fold, they need Rossi in their team, not just for his riding talent but for the sponsorship deals he can bring to the table. Since Rossi left Yamaha two years ago they have been without a main sponsor and as everyone knows motogp is not cheap!
So where will Ben spies go? The rumour is that he has secured a ride in World Superbikes, plus what about Dovizioso with no ride left at Yamaha will he stop with Tech-3 alongside Bradley Smith,or will it be Cal. Rumour has it that Cal Crutchlow will be going to Ducati now that Rossi is leaving!
Who knows, only time will tell and of course Stay On The Black will keep you updated! Yamaha have now confirmed Rossi will be joining them from next year.
