With just two days to go until the grand finale of the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour 2010 in Rome (ITA) on 2 October, Italian rider Vito Campobasso took on the responsibility of testing the kickers and landing hills in the Eternal Citys Stadio Flaminio on Thursday using a traditional Vespa. The Italian rider will be part of the show during Saturday nights main event, which will see the overall winner of the international freestyle motocross tour crowned.
Meanwhile the Vaticans legendary Swiss Guard granted one of the top freestyle motocross athletes on the planet, Switzerlands Mat Rebeaud, an exclusive glimpse behind the walls of the worlds smallest country on Thursday. With just two days to go until the grand finale of the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour in Romes Stadio Flaminio (ITA), Rebeaud had the privilege of firing up his two-stoke machine on historic ground.
After five of six stops, Norways Andrè Villa leads the overall standings, just five points ahead of Nate Adams (USA). The Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour 2010 has seen the twelve best FMX athletes in the world ride in front of hundreds of thousands of fans in bullfighting rings in Mexico City (MEX) and Madrid (ESP), in front of the famous Great Sphinx of Giza in Egypt, on Moscows legendary Red Square and in Battersea Power Station in the heart of London (GBR). The season finale in Rome on Saturday night will be held in front of a capacity crowd of 15,000. The Stadio Flaminio was sold out weeks before the event.
