Our photographer on the ground, Steven Roe, was in the right place at the right time on Sunday at Donington Park as Jonathan Rea took advantage of Marco Melandri’s wild lunge, leaving him out wide and forcing Leon Haslam to sit up slightly.
This was enough to create a gap that Rea wasn’t going to miss and dove up the inside of Haslam, they touched, Haslam slid across the track into his team mate.
This all happened on the final corner of the final race of the day at Donington Park…now this is racing!
