According to Anatoly Kuchmin in an interview at CrimeaGP, MotoGP could be making a stop in the Ukraine in 2012.
Kuchmin was speaking about the new circuit being developed out there at a cost of 260 million Euros.
FIM and Dorna have already been to the track to take a look apparently and negotiations for a 2 or 5 year contract are ongoing according to Kuchmin.
However, Kuchmin is keen to point out that there’s still a long way to go and it won’t happen without help from the government.
“Many things depend on the government of Ukraine, on its support of this project. There are many questions which we should solve together. For example, a road from Evpatoria to our track(6 km) - we have to make it European quality. Also the road from the airport Simferopol to Evpatoria should be in the best condition too. We couldn’t do by our own facilities, so we hope, the government will help us.”
