Sian Blake and sons died of head and neck injuries

British police today confirmed that three bodies found yesterday were those of Sian Blake - an actress of Jamaican descent - and her two children.

"Significant attempts" had been made to hide the bodies, said a statement from Metropolitan Police.

Three days after Ms Blake and her sons disappeared, police interviewed her partner, the children's father Mr Simpson-Kent, at the family home, before he also vanished.

"We don't use text lingo".

The Met Police referred Blake's case to the Independent Police Complaints Commission, officials said Thursday.

Former Eastenders actress Sian Blake wanted to leave her boyfriend Arthur Simpson-Kent, her sister has claimed.

The BBC says that Simpson-Kent may have left the United Kingdom for Ghana. Voice Actress Sian Blake, who played the role of Yugiri has been murdered.

The Blake case only became a murder investigation on Monday.

"She had asked to come back home and we said yes, so we really tried to plan on getting her to move back home", Ava Blake said, noted Sky News.

She said: "The police did take a long time to find the bodies and the family want answers".

She was 43; her children were eight and four.

Sian Blake, 8-year-old Zachary and 4-year-old Amon were last seen December 13. After the visit, Blake and the two boys were officially registered as missing.

Blake's sister Ava told reporters at Scotland Yard in Central London she thinks Simpson-Kent is behind her family members' deaths.

The same day, December 18, officers went back to the Erith home, and forced their way in when there was no answer at the property.

"The timeline as to what activity police did when and how will be subject to the investigation", the Scotland Yard spokesperson adds. "An initial review has highlighted some potential issues regarding the handling and grading of the missing persons investigation", said the Met.

Blake starred on "EastEnders" from 1996 to 1997, playing singer Frankie Pierre on 56 episodes.

Detective Superintendent Paul Monk said: "We are continuing to appeal for any information about the movements of Arthur Simpson-Kent who was last seen by police officers at his home in Erith on December 16".

Sian was best known for appearing on British soap opera "Eastenders" in the early 1990's.
