The new naked K-Pipe 125 motorcycle from Kymco, with its unique semi-automatic transmission, has just arrived in the UK priced at only £1699.
Firmly aimed at young riders and first time bikers, the K-Pipe 125 is certainly affordability.
With its 4-speed semi-automatic gear box and naked looks, the K-Pipe 125 sets a new genre for two-wheel transportation says Ian Kidson, Managing Director at MASCO, the sole UK distributor for KYMCO.

The striking Yellow-Gold & White livery and the 17” spoked alloy wheels complete the bike’s naked design. In 2013, riders will also be able to personalise their bike using Kymco’s range of K-Pipe accessories.
The K-Pipe has a spinal column framework made from casted alloy, which has an overall weight of just 11.8kg. It is therefore lighter, stronger and more responsive compared to most other small capacity bikes. The wheel base has also been shortened to give extra manoeuvrability, and the seat lowered to make it even easier for beginners. The bike’s mono-shock rear absorber and telescopic front forks add to the K-Pipe’s manoeuvrability and rider comfort and stability in higher speeds.
Additional features include an electric and kick start and a digital display with built-in IC processor so that the fuel gauge, clock and speedometer are easy to read at a glance.
With a RRP of only £1699, the K-Pipe 125 is a money saver too. It is powered by one of Kymco’s most fuel efficient 4-stroke air cooled engines, which can achieve well in excess of 100 miles per gallon (40kms per litre).
Like all Kymco machines, the K-Pipe also comes with a trusted 2-year unlimited mileage parts and labour manufacturers’ warranty.
The K-Pipe 125 is available now from all recognised KYMCO dealers across the UK.
Early in 2013, KYMCO will also be launching a 50cc version of the K-Pipe in the UK.
