Those who like their Rolling Stones music raw and unfiltered may get their wish December 2 when a new studio album, "Blue and Lonesome", will be released.
"We went in to cut some new songs, which we did", Ron Wood said of the album's creation.

Stones kicks off the first night of the Californian three-day event, nicknamed Oldchella because it is held on the same polo fields as the annual Coachella festival.
According to a statement from their publicist, the band described the recording process as "spontaneous" and played live in the studio without overdubs.
Keith Richards told Rolling Stone in September that the group had been recording in London, cutting several songs in a rapid period.

Accordingly, the album tips its hat to the blues covers they played before manager Andrew Loog Oldham locked Mick Jagger and Richards in a room and instructed them to come up with some original material. "It's you, ' It sounded so authentic".
The band's next gig is at the Desert Trip festival in Indio, California, which takes place October 14-16 and will also feature Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Neil Young, The Who and Roger Waters.
